Z-Coils Are Built Differently To Treat You Better

Built-in Orthotic
1. Better fit: The Z-Orthotic cradles each foot's curve  for equal pressure distribution.
2. Better stability
3. Most important: Eliminates your chance of getting heel spurs or plantar fasciitis (pain in the mid-foot).

Extra Forefoot Cushioning
1. Primary factor in reducing forefoot pain.
2. Superior Longevity

Spring Suspension System
The Z-CoiL Spring is the primary factor in reducing skeletal pain and absorbing shock.

Flex Line
Your foot should only bend in one area - the ball of the foot.
Z-CoiLs assist this natural flexing point with a permanent flex line.

Built-in Orthotic
Rigid Support. The key to preventing foot pain.
Foot pain is often caused by lack of support.
Your foot requires rigid support.

Z-coil Footwear: engineered around a rigid orthotic:
Extra long 3/4 length: extends from the heel to the metatarsal heads.
Injection molded for: Tremendous strength, Anatomical contouring for an amazing fit, Weight Reduction

The Shocking Truth
Facts:
Walking impact = 2 to 3 times your body weight
Running impact = 3 to 5 times your body weight
Excessive impact is a major cause of foot, leg, and back pain.
Each step is a collision that sends shockwaves up your body.

Z-CoiLs reduce impact!
Here is how:
Four times more cushioning that any regular shoe.
Over 1 inch of heel cushioning (26 mm).
The steel spring is extremely "active" and counteracts all ground forces at lightning speed.
Over 3/4 inch of forefoot cushioning (20 mm).
Neoprene based rubber is incredibly soft and stays resilient over time.

Basic Questions
1. Which ailments might Z-CoiL Footwear alleviate?
Arthritis & Joint Pain
Back Pain & Sciatica - immediate and long-term relief
Foot Pain (Heel Spurs, Plantar Fasciitis, & Forefoot Pain)

2. Are Z-CoiLs stable?
Yes, Z-CoiLs are exceptionally stable and are often more stable on uneven surfaces than normal shoes. The flexible spring can absorb deviations on uneven surfaces without forcing the ankle to turn.

3. Can I run in Z-CoiLs?
Yes! Runners love Z-CoiL Footwear because they dramatically cut the shock incurred with each stride (impact = 3 times the body weight).

4. Will rocks and debris get caught in the open coil?
Occasionally rocks and debris could get caught in the coil. Remember, if something is small enough to get in; it is small enough to get out.

5. Will I have to get used to my Z-CoiLs?
It can take anywhere from five minutes to a few hours for most people to adjust to the tremendous cushioning and overall "softness" Z-CoiLs provide. Many customers complain that after wearing Z-CoiLs, their ordinary shoes feel flat and unsupportive.

6. Do the coils ever wear out?
The coils are not likely to wear out or break. Over time, however, the rubber heel pad underneath the coils may wear, depending on your use. In that case, we recommend replacing both heels.

7. Are Z-CoiLs safe?
Wear your Z-CoiLs only in areas, including work areas, which are free of cables, cords, protruding objects, and objects that could catch in the spring. In the event you are in an area with such objects, we urge you to take caution and watch your step. Use Common sense when you wear your Z-CoiLs.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Z-CoiL Footwear is the world's only footwear specifically engineered for foot, leg, and back pain relief. Studies by Los Alamos National Laboratories showed that the coil located under the heel absorbs 40% to 50% of the impact from walking or running. The unique design of Z-CoiL Footwear, which combines a large coil under the heel with a rigid, full length orthotic, is the brainchild of Al Gallegos.

Mr. Gallegos realized that the plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, and back problems he endured were caused by the impact his body was absorbing while running. Not satisfied with the quality of shoes available to him, he began his quest to develop footwear that would reduce the forces of impact while providing proper support. After years of trials and redesign, Z-CoiL Footwear was born.

Currently the company offers a variety of styles, which are available through a growing network of authorized Z-CoiL dealers. Once a fledgling start-up, the company is experiencing rapid growth in sales and revenues.
