This is because lipase, an enzyme that breaks down fat, is still active in the raw food. In our culture food is heated one way or another and this destroys all the enzymes.

Do you eat all raw foods? That would be impractical, and is not the complete answer. Raw foods contain only the enzymes necessary for their digestion. You need GoldenZymesTM dietary supplement to start pre-digesting the food in your upper stomach. Poorly digested food can contribute to increased stomach acid, heartburn, indigestion, irritable bowel, bloating, excess gas, constipation and diarrhea. Amylase 5000 DU - breaks down amylose (long chains of hundreds of glucose molecules) into smaller chains of glucose molecules

Alpha-galactosidase 125 GaIU - decreases flatulence from raffinose containing vegeta- bles (eg., Beans)

Glucoamylase 8 AGU - breaks a glucose molecule off the end of chains of glucose molecules

Invertase (Sucrase) 125 SU - breaks down table sugar to a glucose and a fructose molecule

Lactase 1250 ALU - breaks down lactose to a glucose and a galactose molecule

Malt Diastase 150 DP* - break down of starch and other complex sugars

Cellulase 125 CU - three enzymes that break down cellulose which is like a starch and found in plants, but is not broken down by any human enzyme.

The enzymes in GoldenZymesTM break down protein, carbohydrates, fat and fiber. Whereas bromelain, papain and trypsin digest only protein and pancreatic enzymes digest only three of the four food components.

The enzymes in GoldenZymesTM are most active in a temperature range approximating the human body. Papain and bromelain, on the other hand, were developed for such industrial uses as tanning leather and tenderizing meat so they work best at temperatures considerably higher than body temperature. Although supplemental animal enzymes, such as pancreatin, are active at body temperature, they do not relieve the body’s digestive burden as they are activated only after the body has secreted digestive enzymes. 

The enzymes in GoldenZymesTM are active from pH 3.0 to 9.0. Therefore, they can function throughout the entire digestive tract. Whereas trypsin only works in the acidic pH of the stomach and pancreatic enzymes in the alkaline pH of the small intestines. Although the environment of the stomach can drop to pH 1.8, research indicates that a pH 4.0 to 5.0 is present within the food bolus in the stomach which is the optimum pH for GoldenZymesTM activity.
